This area of East Anglia, and Cambridgeshire in particular, is rich in history, and has a variety of places to see that will suit all tastes.

Our guests have found that Bramble Corner offers a great base from which to explore in any direction. East Anglia itself, is probably very underrated, as the image is of a flat (well a lot of it is), wet, uninteresting place that is windy and rather boring.

Well, we hope to change your opinion on that, and we have listed below (under places to see) just a few of the most popular places to have a look at.   Walks   Angling   RSPB (Ouse Fen)   Places to See  
  There are many walks in the area, but the most well known, "Ouse Valley Walk", is litearlly behind us, and is well signposted for those "hikers" amongst you.   Fishing near Bramble Corner B&B St.Ives Cambridgeshire   An amazing joint venture between Hanson Aggregates and the RSPB have produced, and will continue to produce in the future, a vitally important wetland wildlife area. Part of it can be reached from Bramble Corner, some 800 metres away to the back of house. Click here for more info .....

  There is a variety of fishing in this area, be it river, lake, or flooded pits. A great variety can be caught, and we are reliably informed that "Jaws" may be lurking! Discounts available for groups.
